No Golden Era Reproduction reel seat collection would be complete without a Payne style uplocking threaded barrel reel seat. One of two Payne style reel seats that we offer. Hardware will accomodate any non-mortised barrel we make, but for a truly authentic look we recommend Spanish Cedar with a hand rubbed varish finish.
- Comes complete with polished aluminium barrel with interrupted threads, threaded nut with diamond knurling, swaged aluminium cork hood, and aluminium butt cap with Payne signature "bulls eye"
- Threaded nut has tapered inside edge to accomodate the reel foot
- Spacer diameter is approximately .690"
- Assembled length is approx. 4"
- Comes standard with a .375 inside diameter. Smaller bore available upon request
- Available in both hand rubbed varnish and stabilized wood choices.
