Removing the excess glue from a set of blanks has always been a problem for bamboo rod makers. It can be scraped, sanded or filed off.

Lightly filing enables the builder to remove the excess glue while eliminating the highs and lows in the cane and produces clean, sharp corners.

We tried a number of files in single, and double-cut configurations, but never found one that we were really pleased with. Once we found these we were sold. We liked them so much that we had them produced in quantity for your use.

The secret is very fine, sharp and deep, double-cut teeth in a wide intersecting angle that results in a very smooth cut. And they plow through the excess glue. The sharpness and fine cutting ability of these files far exceeds any new commercially made files on the market.
